Introducing the ʻUlu Kapa Kuiki in Kukui Jumper, a design that honors the legacy of Ka Malu ʻUlu O Lele, the former name of Lahaina, once so shaded by ‘ulu trees that sunlight only touched the earth near the ocean. Before the plantation era transformed the landscape, Lahaina was a lush, abundant land deeply rooted in aloha ʻāina. Following the August 8th fire, we carry a deepened sense of kuleana, to care for our home, our bodies, and our future. This collection is our answer.

The ʻUlu Kapa Kuiki is a completely new creation, hand drawn with a personal touch: Henōhea himself unknowingly added his mark by grabbing the pen as the design took form. The subtle imperfections he left behind make this piece uniquely ours, a symbol of healing, growth, and authenticity.

This jumper features thicker straps for added support, elegant gold hardware, and a stylish tie-back design for a customizable fit. For the first time, we’ve chosen TENCEL™, a sustainable, plant based fabric that is OEKO-TEX® certified, gentle on your skin and safe for the earth. Unlike rayon or polyester, it doesn’t shed microplastics into our wai, 'āina, or ocean. We didn’t cut corners; this was a conscious decision to walk our talk and be better stewards of our ʻāina.

Bust: Measure across the chest from underarm to underarm while the dress is flat.

Fabric & Care

Our pieces are crafted from a premium blend of 95% Bamboo and 5% Elastane. We chose this specific blend for its luxurious drape, softness, and breathable comfort, perfect for island living and gentle on sensitive skin.

Care Instructions
To preserve the life of your garment and the vibrancy of our signature ʻulu print:

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors.
Use mild, eco-friendly detergent to protect the natural fibers and AZO-free dyes.
Lay flat to dry is recommended, or tumble dry on low heat.
Iron on a low setting only if needed.
Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals, which can break down the integrity of the bamboo fibers.
